Functional Movement is Tri-Planar Movement. Sagittal, Frontal, and Transverse are the three planes that make up Tri-Planar Movement. All human movement involves one two or all three of these planes. If you do not have the ability to move into and control these three planes then your movement options will be limited. This can lead to decreased performance or sometimes pain and injury. I aim to help my clients understand movement on a holistic level using Tri-planar movement and control to unlock performance and potential that otherwise would be a compensatory strategy.
